I know I’m not alone when I say we’ve had a very warm, very bipolar fall so far, but sometimes it feels like I’m the only one! Lots of you are lucky and have been experiencing a perfectly crisp fall and I’m both happy for and jealous of you! Our weather makes it incredibly difficult to dress for the day; it literally changes by the hour. Earlier this week it was in the upper 80s, then the following day the high was 60. No joke. SO yeah, definitely all over the place!! I’ve kept my white jeans on heavy rotation since they transition well from cooler to warmer temps and you don’t feel quite so overdressed when it does warm up! And you don’t feel quite so awkward, either 😉
Like hello, it’s pushing 90 and you’re wearing boots, a scarf, and a sweater? What is wrong with you? Yeah that… ha! So lots of white jean days going on over here!
This light grey sweater is perfect – it’s not too heavy and a great layering piece. I think that is key for weather that keeps you on your toes. No matter where you live, there always seems to be an awkward transitional period between summer and fall and in between winter and spring. It’s just inevitable!
Surprisingly, this bracelet is probably my favorite item from my first Rocksbox. I’m typically not a bracelet gal, even though I swoon over everyone else’s arm candy, but I think I just never had the right bracelets! This one is perfect. It’s the power gemstone bracelet in gold/obsidian. And it’s gorjana, so you know it’s the best! I’m all heart eyes over all of their stuff!
The shorter necklace is also gorjana (similar here), and it’s SO cute. I love it. My Rocksbox stylist said it’s perfect for layering, and I couldn’t agree more. The longer necklace is from James Michelle and was a birth present I got for myself. I have loved everything I’ve seen from her and she’s from my home state of Oregon, so I was so excited to support her and her business. You can’t tell from this picture, but I have “Charley” engraved on it with an arrow next to his name. It’s obviously a very special necklace for me. I started wearing it right before Charley’s birth, during his birth, and continue to wear it now. It’s a beautiful reminder of how precious it is to be his mother.
These chevron stone studs in turquoise are so cute (similar here). I love all things gold and this turquoise and gold pairing is so beautiful! I would definitely say I’m more of an earrings girl than anything else, so I have loved these! Perfect for days when you want to stick with studs instead of statement earrings (which is what I typically wear!).
Rocksbox has been such a fun subscription. I never gave it much thought but I’m SO glad I finally joined that bandwagon! I love it. You rent these pieces for as long as you’d like for $19/month. Change them out as often as you’d like and you can buy anything you just can’t part with. They’ll generously give you monthly credit that you can apply to your order, so you can save extra $$ on the pieces you love! Yay! And you can get your first month FREE with code ‘HAPPILYLINDSEYXOXO’!
So what do you think? Which pieces should I keep?!
